Cleanco Waste Treatment is responsible for the collection of Medical Waste and transport to the processing plant for treatment. Medical Wastes are collected for transport from “Final Collection Points” in Healthcare Facilities. Cleanco Waste Treatment is responsible for the transport of Medical Waste using Refrigerated Transport Vehicles (RTVs) operating at +5oC to +8oC. The RTVs are permitted from the concerned Government bodies and from the Center of Waste Management – Abu Dhabi (Tadweer). Cleanco Waste Treatment is remissible for the treatment of Medical Waste using the unit “GT 500” which has the treatment capacity of 500 kg per hour. The treatment plant is operated for 2 (12 hours) shifts. Cleanco Waste Treatment is responsible to treat the Medical Waste and dispose of the process refuse in proper manner ensuring that this is done as per the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi and Tadweer regulations and requirements utilizing best available techniques for the process.
