JOB SUMMARY
Manage the Rope Access operations in various location including shopping malls, hotels and universities. This is accomplished by undertaking risk assessment, coordinating with clients to understand their requirements, managing project mobilization, monitoring and supervising the Rope Access Team. Shall ensure that all relevant information received relating to developments within the rope access industry, particularly critical safety bulletins, shall rapidly and effectively disseminated to all members of staff who may be affected. Ensure to comply with all IRATA requirements.
MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the 6 monthly thorough inspection and recording of all PPE, this may be done in conjunction with other L3 supervisors.
• Maintenance and submission of work safety statistics in compliance with IRATA requirements – including the completion online of IRATA accident return form 020R on a quarterly basis.
• Responsible for reporting for accident, incident or dangerous occurrence to the relevant national safety authorities and to IRATA using the relevant forms.
• Monthly internal site audit in all projects to ensure that safe system of work are strictly followed and implemented at the worksites in accordance with the IRATA Cleanco Procedures and continuously monitor that all completed Job Packs in each projects has been implemented and correctly filled with the Technicians.
• Conducts risk assessment and prepares Method Statements along with Health and Safety Officer and clients engineer.
• Receives daily work completion reports from Level 3 Supervisor and submits the same on a monthly basis, to the direct supervisor, which is later sent to the Finance Department for raising invoice.
• Participates in monthly meetings with clients and fortnightly meetings with Area Manager & Level 3 Supervisor, to discuss issues related to rope access cleaning, complaints etc.
• Informs Senior Operations Manager and Health and Safety Officer in case of accidents and arranges for medical assistance.
• Conduct site survey with area manager as and when required or as per email or telephone request from the client and Sales Dept.
• Check thoroughly the job pack documents submitted from the sites on monthly basis such as Pre-mobilization, toolbox talk, daily site checklist, job site inspection checklist, etc. to know if they are properly filled
QUALIFICATION
Post Graduate (Preferred)/Bachelors Degree & IRATA Level 3 Certificate
Minimum 3 years of Experience as Technical Assistant Manager IRATA
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Should be proficient with MS Office
Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
Should have UAE Driving License
